Create and use a provision

a provision is created from the customer record and then assigned to one or more files.
If you don't see the tabProvisions, it is necessary topass the contact form to customer sheet.

1. 1. Creating a provision

To create your provision, on your customer's listing:
  • Open the tabProvisionsthen con the buttonNew Provision

  • Fill in the different fields
    Notefields with asterisks are mandatory.
    Attention: In order to deduct a provision on a fee invoice, the customer, currency and billing establishment must be the same on both invoices.

  • Then as with fee invoices, register your provision.



It will then be necessary to respect the same process as for a fee invoice:
  1. Edit your invoiceof provision,
  2. Thevalid, and the
  3. Itto pay, and the
  4. Enter the regulations.

2. Assign or allocate a reserve

You can associate a provision with a fee invoice with three conditions:
  1. The invoice ofprovision must be in"Sold" status(the full amount has been resolved);
  2. Thefee invoice must be in "Proforma" status(it has not yet been validated);
  3. Fee invoice and provision concern the same customer.
If these conditions are met you can then use this provision when invoicing your customer in the proforma invoice. A headband will appear just before the totals.





To use the provision make sure that the box to be "Using a provisionis well checked.

Enter the amount of the provision you want to use in the "" fieldAmount to useÂ". You can use the totality of the provision or only part. However, it is not possible to use an amount greater than the total of the relevant fee invoice.

If you use only part of the provision, you will be able to use the remainder of the provision on another fee invoice of that customer.

3. View the provisions of a client

You can consult the provisions issued for a customer from their listing.



The "Provision" tab will allow you to consult the list of all provisions created for this client, the list of provisions used, as well as the total provisions used.




Your customer's page also allows you to view their available provision balance.
