Creating a task

For more flexibility, it is possible to create your tasks in 4 places:
  • from yourDashboard
  • from yourfiles
  • from your recordscontacts / customers
  • from the menuTasks

Here, the task will be created from afile.

Caution: the tasks on the Customer sheets will not be visible in the tasks of your Folders and vice versa.

To create a task from a folder:

  • Go to your folder
  • Click onthe tabTasks
  • Click onNew task

  • Choose a type of task (Task, Call, Meeting, Editing, Procedure)
  • Assign the task to people with the task to perform and/or those who need to be able to follow the status of the task
  • Name the task
  • Give him a start date
  • [option] Check the box "Add this task to the schedules of assigned stakeholders" if you want this task to be added, like an appointment, to the schedules of the assigned stakeholders. You can then theconvert to billable activity.

There are different options on tasks with the 6 buttons available below:

  • Associated with
  • Reminder
  • Priority
  • Notes
  • Status
  • Sharing

1. 1. Associated with

Given that we are on afile, it is not possible to choose the folder on which to put the task; it is started by default.



2. Reminder (by email)

  • Click on thebell bell
  • Click in the box where "No" is written to choose a reminder
  • Choose a reminder


By default the recall time is 9:00. If the schedule is not right for you, use the following method to customize the callback time by email:
  • Enter one hour at the top right
  • Click in the box where "No" is written to choose a reminder. Reminders based on the time of the task appear.
  • Choose a reminder (the reminder will be sent to the email address that matches your Jarvis login ID).

3. Priority

  • Click on theflag
  • Click in the box where "Normal" is written to choose a priority level
  • Choose the priority level (Lower, Normal or High)


4. Notes

  • Click on thebubble of conversation
  • Enter your notes


5. Status

  • Click on thedouble flet
  • Click in the box where "Not started" to choose a status (Pending, Ongoing, Not Started or Completed)
  • Set an estimated duration


6. Sharing

  • Click on the3 bound points or V lying (<)
  • Check a sharing option

NB: If you check "Do Not share", the stakeholders assigned to the task will see the task and receive the possible reminders defined.However, unassigned stakeholders will not see the task (neither in their Dashboard or in the file)


When you have finished creating your task:

  • Click onRegisterOR onSave and start overif you have a second task to create.


It is always possible tochangeordelete deletea task.

You receive a notification when a task is assigned to you.
