Add elements to JarvisDrive or JarvisBox (Nextcloud)
To add statements (documents/directories/files) on theJarvisDrive, you can: - Import items from your computer
- Create new elements directly from JarvisDrive
- Manage medium-sized documentsby documentary merger from a File or from a customer record
Please note: if you haveinstalled the JarvisBoxon your computer, all items added/modified/deleted in JarvisDrive will also be added in the JarvisBox directory on your computer, and vice versa.
Example: If you add a file to a directory on JarvisDrive, you will find it after syncing the JarvisBox on your computer 1. 1. Import items from your computer
You can import elements in several ways:
- By dragging and dropping into the JarvisDrive destination directory
- Uploading an item in the JarvisDrive destination directory
- By adding the item directly to the synchronized directory on your computer via the JarvisBox

- Open the JarvisDrive at the desired destination location and the file explorer on your computer (both must be visible at the same time)
- In your computer's file explorer left click with the mouse on the element to import
- Without releasing the left mouse cursor, drag the selected item into the JarvisDrive open on your Internet browser
- Release the left mouse cursor once you see the "+ copy" message appearing in JarvisDrive
↠Your file is downloading: it is now stored securely on yourJarvisDrive.
C. Add an element to the JarvisBox
If you haveinstalled the JarvisBoxon your computer you can directly add directly (files, directories...) in the JarvisBox directory present in your file explorer (if you are on Windows) or Finder (if you are on Mac) as you would with any other directory of your computer.
The JarvisBox is a local storage space that will synchronize with JarvisDrive. That is any element you add/modify/deleted locally in the JarvisBox directory will also be added/modified/deleted in JarvisDrive.
2. Create new elements directly from JarvisDrive
In JarvisDrive you can create directly:
- A new directory of files
- A new text file (.TXT format)
- A new Document (.DOCX format)
- A new spreadsheet (.XLSX format)
- A new Presentation (.PPTX format)
3. Manage self-filled documents from models
It is possible togenerate medium-sized documentsdirectly from the file of a Customer File or from a contact form. These documents will automatically be filled with the information of the File or contact in question.
