Add an accounting account

Your Accounting Plan, accessible from your Settings, can be enriched in two ways:
  1. Automatically for accounts receivable, VAT or bank accounts;
  2. Manually for others

Automatic addition of an accounting account

Customers

Customer accounting accounts are automatically added when you sign a contact as a Customer in a Jarvis Legal folder. Note that you can at any timechange the information of a Customer Accounting Account.

Vat

Where youadd a new VAT ratein your Settings, a Class 44 accounting account is automatically associated with this rate.

Bank

Where youadd a new bank accountin your Settings, a Class 51 accounting account is automatically associated with that account.

Manual addition of an accounting account

  1. Go to Settings in the Accounting section > Accounting Plan
  2. Then go to the tab of the account class to update
  3. Click on the section to update
  4. Click on the button â€"Add an accountâ€
  5. Fill in the account information to add (note that fields marked with an asterisk are required)
  6. Click on “Saveâ€
