Delete or restore a JarvisDrive file or directory (Nextcloud)
It is possible via the JarvisDrive ofdelete one or more files or directoriesbut alsorestore files or directoriesdeletedby mistake up to 30 days after deletion.
Delete a file or directory
It is possible to delete a file or directory via a single action (file by file or directory by directory) or via a group action (several files and/or directories at once). The deletion will apply to all Jarvis users in the company who had access to these elements.
In order to ensure a proper functioning of the Jarvis Drive we invite you to follow thefollowing recommendations:
- Do not delete the directory from a Customer Folder
- Do not delete the directory "Archives"
Unitary deletion of a file/directory
To access this feature
it is necessary to click on the buttonto the right of the file or directory to be edited, then select "Delete".
Group deletion of multiple files/directories
To delete multiple files and/or directories at the same time it is appropriate to
check files and/or directorieson which a group action must be applied. This makes a button
will appear. Click on it and select "Delete".
Restore a deleted file or directory
Deleted files and directories are moved into thedirectory "Deleted files"accessible via the menu on the left of the JarvisDrive, and are kept there about thirty days before being finalized.
By clicking on this directory you will be able to see a list of files and directories that were deleted less than 30 days ago.
It is possible torestoreitems removed unitary or grouped.
Unitary restoration of a file/directory
Click on the button
to the right of the file/directory name to restore. It will be established in the directory or subdirectory in which it was located prior to deletion.
Group restoration of multiple files/directories
First, check the files and/or directories to restore. A button
will appear. Click on it and select "Restore".
